Microtax Screenshots

The Microtax user interface, which is what you see and interact with, has been designed to be easy to read and simple to use.

Microtax main control module
Every module in Microtax is selected from the “Main control module” including prior year tax return modules.

Form EI “QuikLinx”
Whilst you can enter or edit tax return data by selecting the appropriate dialog box from a menu you can also select the dialog box from the “QuikLinx” list.

Form EI “Autorun”
You can, but do not have to, setup Microtax to automatically present the dialog boxes that you nominate, one after the other. Very useful if you have a lot of clients with similar data items, for example, Front cover details, PAYG summaries, Interest received, Dividends received and Work related deductions. If you use this feature you simply select the menu item “Run Autorun” and Microtax will present your nominated dialog boxes one after the other.

Form EI Front cover details
Microtax dialog boxes are designed to be as uncluttered and as self explanatory as possible.

Form EI Interest received
This dialog box is also a work sheet so that you can record the details of the interest received by your client. The details are rolled over into the next year’s tax return for you.

Form EI Dividends received
This dialog box is also a work sheet so that you can record the details of any dividends received by your client. The details are rolled over into the next year’s tax return for you.

Form EI Print tax return
One mouse click will enable you to print the entire tax return and any associated schedules. From this dialog box you can select to print any schedule without needing to reprint the whole tax return. You can also print out the tax return details if you so desire.
